Why Invest?

Cutting Edge Technology

ACV’s approach of injecting CO2 into coal formations is both innovative and cutting-edge,
setting the company apart in the global CCS landscape

Large Resource

ACV holds an independently assessed prospective resource of approximately 1.6 billion tonnes
of CO2 storage capacity, positioning it among the largest CCS resources globally

Focused on CCS

ACV is solely focused on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and has no involvement
in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) activities

ASX & Global First

ACV will be the first and only pure-play carbon capture and storage (CCS) company
listed on the ASX and potentially the first of its kind globally

Growing Market

Global demand for CCS is growing as the world pursues clean energy and advance technologies

Why CCS matters

Current capacity in operation: Approximately 50 million tonnes CO2 per year (Mtpa) as of Q1  2025, up from ~47.4 Mtpa a year earlier

Long‑term projections: Some market analyses forecast that CCS capacity may scale to a staggering 2.5 gigatonnes per annum by 2045

Industry concentration: As of 2024, about 90% of operating CCS capacity is tied to the oil & gas / energy sectors

CCS is still a small player, but it’s the only mature tech capable of capturing emissions directly from hard-to-abate sectors like cement and steel. Governments and corporations are investing heavily—including subsidies and major projects. However, CCS must scale exponentially—from tens of millions to billions of tonnes—to truly support global net-zero ambitions.

While CCS has gained significant traction—bolstered by nearly 600 projects in the pipeline and growing capacity—it remains far from the scale needed. Accelerating deployment through policy, investment, and infrastructure is critical to meet net-zero targets.
